Phlebotomy Certification Candidates in California

NHA Offers California DHS Approved Phlebotomy Certification!

National Healthcareer Association (NHA) is approved by California Health Service Department (DHS) as a certifying organization qualified to offer phlebotomy certification examinations to California applicants for state certification in phlebotomy. If you are already working as, or planning to become a phlebotomist in the State of California, then get your California DHS approved phlebotomy technician certification through us!



All regulations pertaining to phlebotomists, clinical laboratory technicians, clinical medical assistants and patient care technicians which have been adopted and filed with the Secretary of State are published in the California Code of Regulations, Title 17 (Public Health), Division 1 (State Department of Health), Chapter 2 (Laboratories), Subchapter 1 (Service Laboratories), Group 2 (Clinical Laboratory Regulations). This is available on the Office of Administrative Law website by searching under California Code of Regulations, Title 17.

State of Georgia:
Phlebotomists in Georgia that perform Point of Care Testing are also required to be certified. The National Healthcareer Association is pleased to announce that its organization's phlebotomy certification exam for Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is recognized by the State of Georgia.
