Home Study Certification Prerequisite Eligibility Guidelines

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older

Must have High School diploma or equivalent

Must have worked in the field for which seeking certification for at least two years

Complete the applications (A & B) and mail them back to NHA. (Application A must be completed and signed by applicant; Application B must be completed and signed by sponsor/employer)

Along with the completed registration forms, applicant must enclose a check, money order or credit card payment with correct amounts for each certification.

Furthermore:

Once all of the eligibility requirements are met, applicants will receive Skills Mastery Home Study packet(s) related to their area of certification (NHA will give you details about all steps required!)

When you receive these sets of documents you must read and complete the required steps and forward all completed work back to NHA*

*Candidates for Phlebotomy Certification must take the National Certification Exam.

You should receive your certificate and wallet-sized certification ID card within 15 business days upon completed process!
